Barbara has over 15 years of operations management and customer service experience. She studied Hospitality Management at the IHTTI School of Hotel Management in Switzerland and Finance at Bournemouth University in the UK.
Barbara started her career in hospitality management whereby she worked for hotels in Kenya, South Sudan, USA, UK, Switzerland, and Greece. She then moved into life support services as a remote sites camp manager for clients that included USAID and Tullow.
In 2014 Barbara ventured into administration management as an office manager for Vestas Eastern Africa. In this position, she was part of the team that delivered 365 wind turbines on time and within budget for the Lake Turkana Wind Farm Project.
At Lady Askari Barbara oversees the company’s administration and ensures that all support activities run efficiently.
